Bachelor of Theology

Der Bachelor of Theology (BTh) ist der niedrigste akademische Abschluss des Studienganges der Theologie. Die Regelstudienzeit an europäischen Hochschulen beträgt 8 Semester. Dieser Studiengang ist mit dem Bachelor of Arts in Theologie (BATh) [1] identisch.

An den Erwerb des Akademischen Grads "Bachelor of Theology" kann in der Regel ein Master of Theology angeschlossen werden. Je nach Qualifikation und belegten Kursen kann an staatlichen Hochschulen auch ein Master of Arts angeschlossen werden. Mindestqualifikationen hierfür sind beispielsweise mindestens das kirchliche oder das staatliche Hebraicum. Das universitäre Hebraicum reicht in der Regel nicht aus.
