Als Septum pellucidum (lateinisch: durchscheinende Trennwand) wird eine aus Gliazellen bestehende anatomische Struktur innerhalb des Gehirns bezeichnet. Sie liegt in der Mitte des Gehirns zwischen den beiden Gehirnhälften, unterhalb des Balkens und ist membranartig zwischen Balken und Fornix gespannt. Das Septum pellucidum bildet einen Teil der medialen Wand des Vorderhorns der Seitenventrikel und gehört strukturell zum limbischen System.

Der anatomische Hohlraum zwischen linkem und rechtem Blatt des Septum pellucidum wird als Cavum septi pellucidi bezeichnet.
