Unter einem Hafada-Piercing (auch Scrotal) versteht man ein Piercing in der Haut des Hodensacks. Es wird gewöhnlich nicht sehr tief gestochen und obwohl es sich dabei um ein Oberflächenpiercing handelt ist die Gefahr des Herauswachsens aufgrund der Flexibilität der Haut in diesem Bereich sehr gering.

Frenum-Ladder

Ein Piercing das auf der Vorderseite des Hodensacks eintritt und auf der Rückseite wieder austritt, ist unter dem Namen Transscrotal-Piercing bekannt. Oft werden auch mehrere Hafada-Piercings in einer Reihe getragen, was als „Frenum-Ladder“ bezeichnet wird, oder anderweitig symmetrisch angebracht.

Das Piercing kann wahlweise mit einem Ball Closure Ring oder einem Barbell gestochen werden. Die Heilung ist relativ unkompliziert und dauert in der Regel zwischen 6-8 Wochen.

Angeblich wurden Hafada-Piercings bereits als Ritual bei heranwachsenden jungen Männern im Nahen Osten durchgeführt. Jedoch gibt es keine Belege für diese Theorie.
