Scotland Act

Der Scotland Act von 1998 schafft ein Schottisches Parlament, legt eine Wahlordnung und einige Geschäftsordnungsregelungen für dieses Parlament fest, obwohl die Masse der Geschäftsordnung vom schottischen Parlament selbst zu regeln ist. Außerdem regelt er die Gesetzgebung durch das Parlament, ohne allerdings grundsätzlich in die Rechte des Londoner Parlaments einzugreifen.

Außerdem sieht er eine schottische Exekutive mit mehreren Ministern vor, die von der Königin nach Billigung durch das Parlament ernannt werden.
