Scoring

Scoring steht primär für das Zählen von Punkten. Im erweiterten Sinne wird es für analytisch statistische Verfahren benutzt, aus wenigen erhobenen Daten anhand von Erfahrungswerten, die in Score-Cards beschrieben werden, zu Risikoeinschätzungen zu kommen.

  • Kreditscoring, zur Bonitätseinschätzung für die Vergabe von Ratenkrediten an private Kunden von Kreditinstituten
  • Scoring-System, als diagnostische Hilfe in der Medizin
  • Scoring (Baseball), ein Bericht über Spielzüge etc.
  • Abrechnungsmodus beim Bridge
  • Methode zur Entscheidungsfindung; Punktbewertungsmethode um qualitative und subjektive Fakten vergleichbar zu machen

Daneben bedeutet Scoring die Vertonung eines Films mit Hintergrundmusik in der Postproduktion.
