SURF

SURF (englisch, Speeded Up Robust Features, frei übersetzt: „Beschleunigte, robuste Merkmale“) ist ein Algorithmus von Herbert Bay et al. zur schnellen und robusten Erkennung von Bildmerkmalen für maschinelles Sehen. SURF ersetzt die in SIFT verwendeten Gaussfilter durch Mittelwertfilter[1], welche durch die Verwendung von Integralbildern mit konstantem Zeitaufwand berechnet werden können. Ziel dieses Vorgehens ist es, die Berechnung zu beschleunigen.
