Die Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) (früher "Australian Stock Exchange") ist die australische Wertpapierbörse mit Sitz in Sydney.

Gegründet wurde die ASX mit sechs getrennten Vertretungen in den Städten Sydney (1871), Hobart (1882), Melbourne (1884), Brisbane (1884), Adelaide (1887) und Perth (1889). 1987 erfolgte der Zusammenschluss, wodurch die ASX zum zentralen Handelsplatz wurde.

Auffällig ist der hohe Anteil der Bergbau- und Rohstoffbranche unter den gelisteten Gesellschaften (u.a. BHP Billiton).

Im Dezember 2006 wurde der Name von Australian Stock Exchange ("ASX") in Australian Securities Exchange ("ASX") geändert.
