QinetiQ ist ein britisches Rüstungs- und Forschungsunternehmen. Die frühere Defense Evaluation and Research Agency war ein Forschungslabor des britischen Verteidigungsministeriums. Der Name Qinetiq gilt als eine versteckte Anspielung auf die James-Bond-Filmserie. Einer der Helden ist ein Wissenschaftler im Dienste des Verteidigungsministeriums namens „Q“. Dieser stattet den Haupthelden James Bond jeweils mit den neuesten Geheimwaffen aus.

Organisation

Die QinetiQ-Gruppe besteht seit April 2005 aus folgenden drei Geschäftsbereichen:
