Pratt Institute

Das Pratt Institute ist ein 1887 gegründetes, privatwirtschaftliches College in New York City. Es ist eine der führenden Kunsthochschulen in den USA und bietet unter anderem Studiengänge in den Bereichen Kunst, Architektur, Design, kreatives Schreiben und Bibliothekswissenschaft an. Es unterhält einen Campus in Brooklyn und einen in Manhattan.

Benannt ist es nach seinem Gründer und ersten Präsidenten Charles Pratt, einem US-amerikanischen Öl-Industriellen. Das Institut verfügt über eine eigene Radiostation und eine der ältesten öffentlichen Bibliotheken der USA.
