Peter McDonald (* 22. September 1978) ist ein australischer Radrennfahrer.

Peter McDonald gewann 2004 eine Etappe bei der De-Bortoli-Tour und das Eintagesrennen Grafton–Invernell. Außerdem war er auf einem Teilstück der Tour of Bright erfolgreich und konnte so auch die Gesamtwertung für sich entscheiden. Im nächsten Jahr gewann er die dritte Etappe der Tour of Tasmania. 2006 wurde McDonald Profi bei dem australischen Continental Team FRF Couriers-Caravello. In seiner zweiten Saison dort gewann er den Baw Baw Classic und eine Etappe beim Australian Cycling Grand Prix. Außerdem gewann er zwei Etappen bei der Tour of the Murray River und wurde auch Erster der Gesamtwertung. Seit 2008 fährt McDonald für die Mannschaft Drapac Porsche. In seinem ersten Jahr dort war er auf einem Teilstück der Tour de Taiwan erfolgreich.
