Palmarola (it.: Isola di Palmarola) ist die zweitgrößte Insel innerhalb des italienischen Archipels der Pontinischen Inseln, zu denen außerdem Ponza, Gavi, Ventotene, Santo Stefano und Zannone gehören.

Palmarola befindet sich etwa 10 km westlich der Hauptinsel Ponza und gehört zur Gemeinde Ponza. Sie besitzt eine Fläche von 136 Hektar. Die Maximalhöhe liegt auf dem Monte Guarniere, welcher sich 249 Meter über den Meeresspiegel erhebt. Auf der Insel gibt es Obsidian.

Die Insel stellt ein Naturschutzgebiet dar und ist nur während der Sommermonate bewohnt. In diesen wird die Insel von vielen Touristen besucht, welche Palmarola mit Leihbooten erkunden. Zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel zählt die Grotte Grotta di Mezzogirono. Das ganze Jahr über finden Tauchgänge statt, da das Meer in der Region sehr klar und so für Tauchschulen sehr attraktiv ist. Das Tauchgebiet nahe der Grotta di Mezzogirono besitzt eine Tiefe von 20 Metern.
