Outgoing

Als Outgoing bezeichnet man im Tourismus jene touristischen Angebote, die von einem inländischen Reisebüro oder Reiseveranstalter im Inland angeboten werden, jedoch Reiseziele und -arten im Ausland umfassen. Es handelt sich also um Reiseverkehrsströme in ein anderes Land als das Ursprungsland.

Die sinngemäße Übersetzung dieses englischen Begriffs bedeutet „hinaus gehendes“ (das Land der Buchung verlassendes) Reisegeschäft, also das eigene Land verlassender Tourismus. Somit beeinflusst Outgoing auch die Handelsbilanz des jeweiligen Ursprungslandes.

Struktur

Da die Mechanismen im Outgoing deutlich anders ablaufen als im Incoming, gibt es für beide Richtungen spezialisierte Unternehmen. Es können auch unterschiedliche gewerberechtliche Zugangsbestimmungen für diese Tourismusarten vorliegen (länderweise unterschiedlich).

Outgoing-Unternehmen beziehen ihre Leistungen

  • von einem Incoming-Partner im Zielland, -region
  • durch Direkteinkauf der Leistungen im Zielland, -region

Der „Produktionsweg“ für ein Outgoing-Unternehmen besteht vereinfacht aus folgenden Schritten:

  • Leistungsangebot im Ausland wird durch eine Incoming-Agentur im Ausland gebündelt und als Angebot dem Outgoing-Unternehmen im Inland angeboten, das dieses Paket entweder in Form von Einzelbausteinen oder als Pauschalreisen am inländischen Markt anbietet.

Ein Beispiel soll dies verdeutlichen:

  • Man bucht in Deutschland einen Städteaufenthalt in einer deutschen Stadt → Incoming
  • Man bucht in Deutschland eine Urlaubsreise nach Spanien oder Australien → Outgoing
