Optical Society of America

Die Optical Society of America (OSA) wurde 1916 gegründet. Das Hauptziel dieser Gesellschaft ist das „Schaffen, Erhalten und Teilen von Wissen“ auf dem Gebiet der Optik und Photonik.

Hauptsitz der OSA ist in Washington. Die OSA hat derzeit über 14.000 Mitglieder aus über 80 Ländern.
