Nuevo Casas Grandes, auch bekannt als Casas Grandes Nueva, ist eine Stadt in Mexiko im Bundesstaat Chihuahua mit 92.863 Einwohnern (2005). Sie liegt am Casas Grandes River und San Miguel River, in der Nähe der Sierra Madre Occidental (Felsige Berge). Schwesterstadt ist Colorado Springs, Colorado seit 1996.

Geschichte

Nuevo Casas Grandes wurde 1870 gegründet und ist benannt nach der eine Meile entfernten Stadt Casas Grandes. Wegen des Baus einer Eisenbahnstrecke, wanderten viele Leute nahe der Strecke ab.
