Die New Radicals waren eine US-amerikanische Band, die in den späten Neunzigern von Gregg Alexander in Los Angeles gegründet wurde.

Im Jahr 1997 schloss die Band einen Plattenvertrag mit MCA und brachte im Oktober 1998 ihr erstes Album auf den Markt, Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too. Dabei fungierte Alexander als Sänger, Songwriter und Produzent.

Das Album wurde ein voller Erfolg, am bekanntesten wurde die Singleauskopplung You Get What You Give. Anschließend löste Alexander die Band überraschend wieder auf und konzentrierte sich seither auf seine Arbeit als Produzent.

Im Jahre 2008 haben sich Alexander, Danielle Brisebois, Rick Nowels und Rusty Anderson unter dem Namen The Not So Silent Majority wiedervereint, um den Song Obama Rock aufzunehmen, mit dem sie die Wahlkampagne von US-Präsident Barack Obama unterstützten.
